The last-year team building event left positive impressions on the whole personnel of EOS Matrix Macedonia and therefore this year the Marketing Department and the Human Resources Department for the second time organized interesting games and memorable all-day socializing for all the company’s employees.
The team building took place on September 24, 2011 in the yard of the beautiful restaurant Marger, in the vicinity of the city park in Skopje. In a splendid atmosphere, with a snack and drink, the teams once again showed their team spirit and measured their competences in a fair and collegial companionship.
The games were quite interesting and fun, at the same time being quite common for such an event: a game with bricks in which none of the participants should step on the grass, continually transferring the bricks one after another handing them over and walking on them; running with an egg – every participant holds a spoon in his mouth by its handle and in the spoon there is an egg which should not fall down until the participant finishes the game; a race with bags in which two competitors using one of their legs (one with the left and the other with his right leg) enter into the bag and synchronized run over the whole field without falling down; a game with tubes – to bring the ball to the goal rolling it using only the tubes and in no case touching it with hand; game with balloons – the competitors play with one balloon between their bodies and one between their legs, with each circle the number of participants increases but at the same time also the number of the balloons between the competitors, which should not be dropped during the whole game, while as expected the participants must not use their hands.
In a team spirit the team named F&M (Female & Male) won the competition and all team members were rewarded a relaxing body massage.
We, the EOS Matrix team, recommend team building activities from the bottom of our hearts, as a means that the company can use to reward its employees, and at the same time contribute to the improvement and development of one of the most important work resources – the people who work for the company.
Team Building - A way to bring some fun into the business

Within the company’s team activities in EOS Matrix Macedonia, on 12th of June 2010, in Hotel Bellevue near Skopje, was organized a Team Building day, with main goal to express the employees’ team spirit in positive working environment.
The Team Building was consisted of 5 team games whose objective was improvement of the communication, constant promotion of the interpersonal relations, building confidence between the employees as well decrease of the stress at work. As activities which contribute to improvement of the working ability, except the recreational part, as additional content after the finish of the competition the two teams which took the last places in the games prepared salads and grill.
The reward for the winner was team socializing in Café CIAO of the winning team, together with part of the supervising team.
Minefield
In this game participate two competitors from each team, the first competitor as direct participant and the other one as an assistant for directions. Within 15 minutes the first competitor with scarf on the eyes and directions from the assistant has to go towards the center of field in order to collect small ping-pong balls from the field and bring the balls back to the assistant, at the same time avoiding the plastic glasses full with water placed on the field as mines. The team that will collect more balls in a most secure way in the given time of 15 minutes is the winner.
Hula hoop
In this simple game, which was inevitable part of our childhood, participate two competitors from each team. The game has no time limit, i.e. the competitors eliminate each other by longer twirling of the hula hoop. The winner is the player who will succeed to twirl the hula hoop around his waist for the longest time.
Dancing with eggs
In this game participate two competitors from each team. Their assignment is to dance, in the beginning tango and then salsa on a rhythm that speed up as the game comes to its end. During the dance the competitors hold fresh egg between their foreheads. The egg must not drop on the floor; otherwise such couple will be out of the game. The winner in this game is the couple that will manage to dance longest time without dropping the egg.
Sack race
The sack race is a competitive game in which participants place both of their legs inside a sack that reaches their waist and jump forward from a starting point toward a finish line. The first person to cross the finish line is the winner of the race.
Pipeline/ Gutter Ball
This is a game in which two teams play at the same time. Each team has 3 minutes to make 3 attempts. The game starts when one of the participants drops the ball from the start line, and the others by holding plastic pipes make bridge in order to bring the ball into the goal. Except the person who initially drops the ball, the rest of the team must not touch the ball with their hands; otherwise the whole team will be disqualified from this game. The winner is the team who will achieve the goal in fewer attempts.
The football team of EOS Matrix Macedonia

Within the team activities, the employees of EOS Matrix Macedonia composed its own football team and take participation in footers of the small football league in the corporative cup “Dribbling” in which most companies in Macedonia try to find their chance for success.
In this competition 24 football teams from 24 companies in Skopje take participation. Most of the companies are clients of EOS Matrix Macedonia; hence the competition and sportsmanship were on a higher level.
Versatility and distinctive team-building platform is a significant attraction for companies looking to enhance their teams' performance and integration abilities. Focusing on the world of football, this team play allows experiential learning of key business skills and team abilities without requiring knowledge of the sport itself.
